You are worth at least as much as a magnificent sunset,

A daisy, a young child’s laugh.

You are worth at least as much as

A wave in the wild, crashing splendidly on the shore,

A cascade of sand from a wee one’s castle.

You are worth at least as much as

Scents of Spring, as gentle night air.

You are worth at least as much as

All good things you can imagine.

You are made of the same worth,

The same light, the same shadow,

The same elements as all of these.

That of which a shimmering star or a daisy is made,

Is also that of which you are made,

Their particles, their energy, their light.

All things of great import, of profound beauty,

That you have ever seen,

You are worth at least as much as these.
